Tomorrow is the first official day of the exhibition after a day and a night of installing...one or two surprises but really it is a re-invention of the work that was shown over the 'match-box songs + gypsy hymns' installations...it is always difficult having to revisit work...to keep it fresh I simply took everything to the gallery with little idea of how to transpose it...but like the process of making I guess one has to trust that immediate reaction to shape and surface...it always leaves one with so many options...so it has become what it has become...a formal/random placement of works...mostly silent...sp
