'books from the library of phenomenology' is an installation piece that will be exhibited at Port Jackson Press:Little Window of Opportunity... commencing Sunday 28th August...the works are a combination of etching and assemblage book pieces that continue my interest in the embedded meaning and identity made available through our encounters with objects. In the past I have been content to use second-hand books in creating a series of phenomenologically based descriptions but in this latest series I have bound each book myself and printed the slip cover...it seems to make a difference but one that I am yet to reflect upon...more to follow...sp.
