Image & Text...

 Image and text are the vessels that bring us to language...collecting our senses...at some point in time it seems we must choose between the two...suddenly one proving to be inadequate... or simply one surpasses the other and it chooses us...as someone who painted signs for 20 years text was not only a vehicle for expression but something that needed to be constructed...everyday a new language had to be invented... of course it is more interesting when text evokes image and image begins to suggest text...sp
