MYTHO-POETIC opens on Tuesday at the Queensland Collage of Art...this new series of works are a collective of quite deliberate attempts to find new territory...in the initial stages of installing I'm aware that certain things remain as oddities... yet these often small works seem an essential element within the stream of more structured narratives...although I have realised that even these retain a sense of the incomplete...I know in conversations I have a poor habit of not completing sentences...somehow naturally assuming that the other person anticipates the point I've made...it may be an appropriate analogy for this show.
