further works in progress...

 

 

 Attempts to take the smaller 'yellow book' images into larger prints...never a direct translation...unexpected relationships allowing for a sense of extended dialogue...all a part of the process of  exhausting things...the possibility of exhibiting the plates on their own...at this scale the metallic surface seems to resonate more than how I imagine them as works on paper...after some time exploring collage and assemblage works I seem to have returned to pure intaglio printing...the book being partly to blame...that and something in ones blood...at university my first year students are having to choose their major disciple for their under-grad. years...as I tell any one of them asking my advice it is often a case of the medium having already chosen them...sp
