The last remaining days of 'collectings 2'...I feel as though I have exhausted the collecting thing for now...returning to the print studio over these past weeks seems to have reinforced my desire to return to the pure aesthetics of paper, plate and ink...etching and its complex simplicity...I know I have spoken of the need to exhaust ideas...it translates to process and materiality as well... things slowly lose possession of their'charge'...that electric moment of recognition... at times one reaches a point of breathlessness amongst it all...too much of the past can suffocate you...sp
